Burnley have heaped more pressure on Erik ten Hag as Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
Antony almost proved to be the unlikely hero for the Red Devils after ending his Premier League goal drought in the 79th minute.
The Brazilian forward capitalised on a loose pass from Sander Berge to steer into the bottom corner – his first Premier League strike this term.
And the relief was there for all to see as he celebrated with a Sonic the Hedgehog toy by the advertising hoardings.
However United were unable to hold on for all three points afer Andre Onana gave away a penalty.
Up stepped Zeki Amdouni in the 87th minute to slot home in the bottom right corner to silence the Theatre of Dreams.
United fans thought they were to be given a late spot-kick of their own after Scott McTominay’s cross struck Vitinho’s hand.
But VAR failed to intervene, with United fans booing Ten Hag following the full-time whistle.
Ten Hag was also loudly jeered by supporters during the second half when he elected to withdraw Rasmus Hojlund and Kobbie Mainoo.
