Hungary’s Barnabas Varga was stretchered off during the Euro 2024 clash with Scotland following a nasty collision with Angus Gunn.
The two clashed while coming for the ball as a free-kick was swung into the Scotland box.
Both stars were left on the floor as a result.
The game was then paused for five minutes while Varga received treatment on the pitch.
His teammates made a wall around him as he was seen to.
There was a huge round of applause from everyone in the stadium in Stuttgart as Varga was lifted and stretchered away.
Liverpool and Hungary star Dominik Szoboszlai was in tears as his teammate was taken off.
Martin Adam then came on to replace Varga.
Varga has scored his country’s only goal of the tournament so far, netting in the 3-1 loss to Switzerland in Group A.
Both sides need to find a win to keep their Euro 2024 hopes alive.
A draw won’t be enough for Hungary to stay in the competition.
Meanwhile Scotland will be depending on other results to go their way to get through in third place.
