England fans know their team are already close to sealing their place in the knockout stages of Euro 2024.
The Three Lions beat Serbia 1-0 in their opening game before drawing 1-1 with Denmark, meaning one more point from their last game will see them qualify for the knockout stages.
Of course, who England might play depends on where they finish in the group.
Gareth Southgate’s side could face anyone from previous World Cup champions to relative minnows.
It’s complicated, so talkSPORT.com has taken a look at the possible opponents in the round of 16 for England…
If England finish top
Should England win the group, they will face a third-place team from either Group D, E or F on Sunday, June 30 at 5pm UK time in Gelsenkirchen.
In Group D, the Netherlands and France have already won a game and still have each other to play, so it’s unlikely they’ll finish third.
This leaves the two most likely options as Poland or Austria.
In Group E, Romania and Slovakia have a win each, leaving Ukraine and Belgium on zero points, but you would expect those two to bounce back, leaving that group very open.
And in Group F, Turkey and Portugal were expected to be the top two, and after one match, they are.
Things could change, but as it stands, Georgia or the Czech Republic are the most likely options.
Of course, finishing top of the group is the aim, and Stuart Pearce hopes they get the job done.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “I think if we win the group, we’re going to get a team that finish third in their group. You can’t ask for any more at this stage of the tournament. I think it’s took the pressure off some of the big hitters.
“The fact that third teams go through as well… I think that’s took a lot of pressure off some of the teams, that’s for sure.
“But I think from England’s point of view, it’s like everything, you’ve got to win your group and hopefully that will send you on the easiest potential route.
“Either way, if you’re going to win the final, you’re going to have to knock over, in England’s case, probably knock over two teams that are ranked above them, maybe.”
If England finish second
Should England finish second, they will play the winner of Group A on Saturday, June 29 at 8pm UK time in Dortmund.
There are only two teams that can finish top in Group A – Germany and Switzerland.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side are currently leading the way after two wins and seven goals scored.
They face the Swiss in their last match and know if they avoid defeat, they will take top spot.
If England finish third
Should England progress as one of the best third-place teams, they would play on Monday, July 1 at 8pm UK time in Frankfurt.
They would play the winner from Group F, which is looking like it will be Turkey or Portugal.
Both sides have a win each and still have to face one another.
But either way, that would be a tough game for England.
Portugal are one of the favourites to go all the way, while Turkey are backed by some of the most passionate and fanatical supporters at Euro 2024.
