Ryan Garcia has insisted he got the better of Logan Paul in sparring despite their size difference.
Garcia defeated Devin Haney in his most recent outing, dropping the American three times en route to points win, and has shot further into boxing stardom.
‘King Ry’ is already a huge name on social media, and famously sparred YouTube star Paul before his exhibition with Floyd Mayweather in June 2021.
The relationship between the pair has since soured, prompting Garcia to now lash out at ‘The Maverick’, insisting he would comfortably beat him in a showdown.
He said on the PBD podcast: “He’s a weirdo. I’d do worse. I’d do worse to him.
“I would destroy Logan Paul. I’ve already sparred with him. He didn’t hurt me once.
“And he was way bigger than me, and I was whooping his a**. How long ago was this? Long a** time ago.”
Garcia went on to viciously slam Paul for his role in modern culture, including his joint business Prime energy drink with former boxing rival KSI.
“They don’t stand for nothing bro, they are puppets and leeches and I don’t like people like that,” he continued.
“These dudes are cowards and demons in the flesh, that money isn’t going to go anywhere but the grave, brother.
“He’s so in love with his wisdom that he thinks he has, he just seems like a p***k.”
A fight is of course highly unlikely with Garcia currently competing several weight categories below Paul.
The YouTuber has fought four times in the boxing ring, and has won just once, in his last outing, beating Dillon Danis in a farcical clash.
Garcia has been friends with Paul’s brother Jake for several years, and the pair are on much better terms.
Next for ‘King Ry’ in the ring could be a rematch with Haney, who pleaded for a shot at redemption later in 2024.
The 25-year-old also has his eye on revenge of his own against Gervonta Davis, calling for a shot at a new weight following his 2023 defeat.
