Boxing legend Prince Naseem Hamed believes Tyson Fury will beat Oleksandr Usyk on points.
Fury and Usyk meet on May 18 to crown an undisputed heavyweight champion for the first time since Lennox Lewis beat Evander Holyfield in 1999.
It is the first time every recognised world title has been put on the line in the four-belt era.
Fury is the reigning WBC champion, while Usyk holds the IBF, WBA and WBO titles following two victories over Anthony Joshua.
Many believe the ‘Gypsy King’ holds a significant physical advantage due to his superior size and reach.
Usyk is among the most highly-skilled pound-for-pound fighters in the world, but the former cruiserweight is six inches smaller than his opponent and could weigh up 50lbs lighter.
Former lineal featherweight champion Prince Naseem believes Fury will be guaranteed a victory if the fight goes the distance.
“I’m hoping Tyson Fury is going to win that fight on points,” Prince Naseem told Drivetime on talkSPORT.
“I believe that if he stands up in the 12th round, he will get his hand raised, regardless of what’s going to happen.
“I think it’s going to be a hard fight. All I want him to do is stand on his feet.
“Stand on his feet at the 12th round at the end of it and, God willing, it should be a points win to him [Fury].”
However, Usyk’s promoter Alexander Krassyuk believes the Ukrainian has attributes of his own that will make him a nightmare for the Brit.
“I can tell you about the secret weapon of Usyk’s, the only problem is it’s not a secret,” Krassyuk recently told Sky Sports.
“His weapon is his mind, his heart, his experience and boxing skills.
“And the main thing about him that is different from Tyson Fury is his discipline.
“That is what makes him great and it is his toughest weapon.”
