After serving as EVP of Talent for nearly two years, Dan Ventrelle is no longer with WWE.
The departure was first reported by SEScoops writer Aaron Varble on Thursday and has been confirmed by our Dave Meltzer. Ventrelle had been with WWE in the EVP of Talent role since September 2022.
Prior to joining WWE, Ventrelle worked for the NFL’s Las Vegas/Oakland Raiders for nearly 18 years. He was the team’s general counsel before later becoming its president. Ventrelle was fired by the Raiders in May 2022. During his time as president, Ventrelle oversaw the Raiders’ business operations and was the lead negotiator on player and coach contracts.
When he was hired by WWE, Ventrelle noted that he was a lifelong fan and was “excited to further the commitment to deliver exceptional talent to the WWE Universe.”
WWE and Ventrelle first worked together when SummerSlam took place from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, the home of the Raiders, in 2021.
