A Mercedes Mone segment is being advertised in advance for this week’s AEW Dynamite episode.
AEW has announced that we’ll hear from Mone on Dynamite this Wednesday. The show is taking place from Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis.
The segment will follow up on last week’s angle where Mone was beaten down by a mystery attacker. While Alex Marvez was conducting a sit-down interview with Mone, the lights went out and we could hear Mone being attacked by someone. Marvez yelled that Mone needed help.
Mone arrived in AEW on the Big Business edition of Dynamite last month. She’s yet to make her AEW in-ring debut but has declared that she’ll be challenging for the TBS Championship at Double or Nothing next month.
The TBS title will be on the line when Julia Hart defends against Willow Nightingale at AEW’s Dynasty pay-per-view this Sunday. Before that, Nightingale & Adam Copeland will face Hart & Brody King in a mixed tag match on Dynamite.
Here’s the updated lineup for the episode:
AEW Dynamite (Wednesday, April 17) —
- Will Ospreay vs. Claudio Castagnoli
- Adam Copeland & Willow Nightingale vs. Brody King & Julia Hart
- The Elite (The Young Bucks & Kazuchika Okada) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo, PAC & Daniel Garcia
