City take on Tottenham on Tuesday night in what could be pivotal in the title race in the Premier League.
And it means a trip to north London for Pep Guardiola’s men, though some Arsenal fans have got their schedules mixed up.
Social media footage has shown fans letting off fireworks outside a hotel in the hope that it would keep the City players up all night and affect their performance on Tuesday.
However, they have made a huge blunder – City did not travel to London on Monday.
Instead, they are making the trip down south from Manchester on Tuesday morning.
Setting off fireworks outside team hotels is nothing new and the anti-social behaviour has become more prominent in recent years.
Tottenham host City on Tuesday night with both sides needing a win.
City are a point behind Arsenal but with a game in hand, meaning if they beat Spurs and then West Ham on Sunday, they will be crowned champions.
Meanwhile, Tottenham must win both their remaining games and hope Aston Villa lose on Sunday to Crystal Palace to sneak into fourth and land a Champions League spot.
