Norwich and Leeds go head-to-head at Carrow Road on Sunday in the first leg of the Championship play-off semi-finals.
However, any hope the Leeds players getting a restful night’s sleep was seemingly ruined thanks to fireworks being let off outside their hotel.
Videos circulating on social media allege to show a Norwich fan setting off fireworks outside Sprowston Manor, where their opponents are staying the night before the game.
The match kick-offs at 12pm, so Daniel Farke’s side stayed overnight in order to get the best preparation possible.
However, that was seemingly scuppered by a pyrotechnic display in the early hours.
Leeds were forced to take the play-off route after agonisingly missing out on automatic promotion to Ipswich.

They finished on 90 points, which was six points behind Ipswich in the end.
Before Sunday’s game, Daniel Farke said: “I think we have a winning mentality because on special occasions and spotlight games we are spot on. We played twice against Leicester and won two times, we beat Ipswich twice.
“Sometimes some more consistency would have been great for ‘another day in the office’ games but when you finish with 90 points you can’t complain too much. We have two spotlight games now and I’m optimistic.”
Norwich squeezed into the final play-off spot and now must get past Leeds, who were 14 points ahead of them, for a place at Wembley.
