The 2024 World Snooker Championship is approaching its conclusion, with just four players remaining.
Ronnie O’Sullivan had hoped to win a record eighth title, but he was knocked out at the quarter-final stage by Stuart Bingham.
It’s been a year of shocks as last year’s champion Luca Brecel crashed out immediately, along with multiple winner Mark Selby.
Mark Allen and John Higgins are also out, leaving Bingham, Jak Jones, David Gilbert and Kyren Wilson.
Bingham is the only man of this quartet to be world champion in the past, so it’s a wide-open competition.
