Last week saw 17-year-old Luke Littler win back-to-back nights of Premier League Darts, beating Gerwyn Price in the final in Manchester, just a week after winning his maiden night in Belfast with victory in the final of Nathan Aspinall.
This week sees the teenager, whose back to back night victories have shot him to the top of the overall leaderboard, takes on Rob Cross, who has fallen down to sixth in the table after four consecutive quarter-final defeats, in the second match of the night.
The winner of that tie will take one the winner of the first match of the night in the semi final, which sees bottom of the table Peter Wright, who has just two wins to his name in 10 weeks, take on the reigning world champion and world number on Luke Humphries, who currently sits second in the table, just a point behind Littler.
Last week’s beaten finalist Gerwyn Price still sits seventh in the standings and will be aiming to close the gap on the top four further this week, taking on fifth placed Michael Smith in the third quarter final.
The 2022 world champion is currently fifth in the table but only two points outside the play-off spots and will be aiming to climb back into that top four this week.
Meeting Price or Smith in the second semi final will be either seven-time and defending Premier League champion Michael van Gerwen, who currently occupies the final play-off spot but has won just one match in the last six weeks, or Night 5 champion Nathan Aspinall.
Aspinall started this years Premier League campaign slowly, not winning a match until Night 4 but only one quarter-final exit and four appearances in the final later, the Englishman finds himself third in the table heading into Thursday night in Birmingham.
