Max Holloway could barely believe his eyes as a fan posted his winning UFC 300 bet.
Holloway scored one of ‘greatest knockouts ever’ when he beat Justin Gaethje on the historic UFC 300 card landing a thunderous overhand right with just seconds left of the final round.
And ‘Blessed’ formed part of a winning five-fold accumulator bet that a UFC fan had posted on social media, where the punter pocketed an incredible $161,675 from a stake of $54.41.
The fan posted a screenshot of the winning bet with the caption: “We love the UFC and UFC 300.”
New ‘BMF’ champion Holloway reacted in the comments, writing: “Brother what? Lol.”
The winning bet also featured four other predictions, with the first pick correctly suggesting Bo Nickal will beat Cody Brundage in the second round.
Arman Tsarukyan was backed to beat Charles Oliveira at the end of the three-round distance by decision, and Zhang Weili was backed to beat Yan Xiaonan in the chief support.
Finally in the headline act, the winner backed Alex Pereira to successfully knock out Jamahal Hill to retain his light-heavyweight title, which he did in emphatic fashion.
More fans were equally taken aback, with one writing: “Ban time travellers lol. Genuinely unreal.”
Another agreed: “Damn that’s crazy good stuff.”
A fan even joked: “Bro, can you predict my future?”
One even surprisingly claimed: “Damn I predicted them all but didn’t bet, this s*** might become a weekly Saturday paycheck for me.
“Nonetheless congratulations and don’t spend it all in one place champ.”
Holloway certainly made a statement with the win, and is eyeing further big fights, including a clash with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
McGregor has finally had his comeback fight against Michael Chandler announced for June 29, with the Irishman set to compete in further huge showdowns.
But his cryptic response shows that the contest seems unlikely, given McGregor could return at 170lbs.
