A WWE star has reacted to a hilarious production botch after being replaced in the 2024 King of the Ring tournament.
The 2024 King of the Ring Tournament is set to begin on tomorrow night’s episode of Raw, and the Raw bracket for the tournament was officially announced at yesterday’s Backlash show in Lyon, France.
The first round matches from the Raw side will see Sheamus vs. Gunther, Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor, Ilja Dragunov vs. Ricochet and Kofi Kingston vs. Rey Mysterio.
Kofi is taking the place of Xavier Woods in the tournament, after Woods’ match with Gunther on this week’s Raw, and Woods has now commented on Kingston taking his place in the tournament.
Taking to Twitter, Woods told Kofi to bring the crown back home for the New Day, before pointing out a hilarious production botch, misspelling Kofi’s name as ‘Kofi Kingson’.
He wrote:
You all know how important King of the Ring has always been to me. I’m not in the tournament this year but my brother Kofi has the chance to gain the crown. BRING IT HOME FOR NEW DAY!
Also please spell his name correctly on the next graphic.
