WWE has revealed the rules and eligible wrestlers for its 2024 Draft.
The draft begins on SmackDown this Friday night (April 26) and then concludes on Raw next Monday (April 29). Here are the rules that are in place:
On SmackDown, there will be four rounds with 16 total picks (eight for SmackDown and eight for Raw).
On Raw, there will be six rounds with 24 total picks (12 for Raw and 12 for SmackDown).
The champions of each brand are protected and not eligible to be drafted.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions (Asuka & Kairi Sane) are eligible to be selected. They are able to appear on both brands but will be assigned to the brand they were drafted to if they lose the titles.
SmackDown will pick first on Friday.
Raw will pick first on Monday.
The rosters lock on Monday, May 6.
Champions being protected means that Cody Rhodes, Bayley, Logan Paul, and Grayson Waller & Austin Theory are remaining on SmackDown and Damian Priest, Becky Lynch, Sami Zayn, and The Miz & R-Truth will remain on Raw.
WWE has Backlash taking place two days before the rosters lock on May 6.
