Akira Tozawa has now reacted to Chad Gable’s heel turn and recent comments about Alpha Academy following Monday’s edition of Raw.
Chad Gable notably attacked Sami Zayn following their Intercontinental Championship match on the April 15 show.
Gable explained his actions during this week’s (April 22) show, before roasting the members of his Alpha Academy team.
The former Olympian fired shots at Maxxine Dupri, Otis and Akira Tozawa, saying that Dupri was as dumb as a box of rocks, that Otis was the biggest disappointment of them all, and that Tozawa had just taken loss after loss after joining the group.
While the faction members ultimately agreed to help Chad Gable’s cause, Tozawa has now taken to Twitter to share his own response to Gable’s comments.
Apologizing, he wrote:
I am good for nothing.. Sorry
Tozawa last wrestled on the April 5 edition of SmackDown, competing in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which Bronson Reed ultimately won.
His last win came at the March 11 WWE Main Event taping, where he and Otis defeated the now-released Sanga & Veer Mahaan.
Chad Gable has now commented on his WWE character change, which you can read more about right here.
I am good for nothing..
Sorry— Akira Tozawa (@TozawaAkira) April 23, 2024
