The highly controversial LIV Invitational Series continues to dominate the world of golf as more high-profile players ditch the PGA and DP World Tours.
The talk in the lead up to the US Open last week was centred around LIV, Greg Norman’s new tour bankrolled by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.
Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson have been the most prominent names to sign up for the multi-million dollar series which had it’s first tournament in London earlier this month.
LIV offers players huge financial boosts as well as giving them more time off while still, for now, playing in the Majors.
It’s an appealing proposition but the money behind the tour has raised serious moral and ethically questions.
Mickelson was grilled prior to the US Open with families of 9/11 victims sending the six-time Major winner letters of disapproval over his recent comments and decisions.
But LIV continues to grow and has this week confirmed superstar four-time Major champion Brooks Koepka and world number 20 Abraham Ancer as new members.
The next event will take place in Portland from June 30 and several more names are expected to be added to the field before then.
The PGA and DP World Tours are busy making plans to reform how they conduct matters to try and keep hold of their star names.
But who has already defected to LIV and who could join them?
