Luke Rockhold has criticised Tommy Fury’s combating model and is backing Jake Paul to win their glamour showdown later this month.
Paul and Fury are lastly set to struggle on February 26, with earlier struggle date postponements starting from harm to visa points.
Former UFC middleweight champion Rockhold, who left the promotion this 12 months, defined why he thinks the American will come out on high in Saudi Arabia.
He informed Inside Fighting: “You gotta have a canine in you. [Fury] ain’t obtained no canine in him. I’ve watched him struggle. He doesn’t even end his punches. You understand, he has no dedication to ending it. He’s a present. He’s a present fighter. And I obtained Jake.
“And I don’t even assume Jake has that a lot, like, he has dedication, no less than. He doesn’t have endurance. He doesn’t have that f****** mentality when he will get within the recreation, I believe he’s blinded. He’s obtained that deer within the headlights, however no less than he throws.”
Paul has a constructive file, beating UFC legend Anderson Silva in his final struggle in October, which was the most important win of his profession so far.
Rockhold, although, says he needs to struggle Paul and can be a greater match for him.
He informed TMZ: “Cease attempting to struggle little dudes. F****** [155] pounders. You’re a middleweight. If you wish to struggle a middleweight, I obtained arms.
“We can do anything we want. I really don’t care. I’d beat that guy in my sleep.
“I got some freedom to do some things and as you can see, I like throwing hands these days.
“Fight people your own f****** weight. Straight up. And champions, a real champion, a real contender. A real someone who can put you on your a**, not old guys, 55-year-olds, or lightweights. You can’t even get above a welterweight, dog, So, step up.”
