Tottenham were dealt an injury blow to Timo Werner just half an hour into their north London derby against Arsenal.
The German, who is on loan from RB Leipzig, started in their attack for the clash but had to be taken off early.
Werner appeared to have a muscle issue and had to make way, with Brennan Johnson coming on as his replacement.
It summed up a torrid first-half for Spurs who went behind after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg headed into his own net from a corner.
The hosts thought they equalised through Micky van de Ven but the defender was adjudged to be offside and the goal was ruled out.
Bukayo Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead before Kai Havertz added the third on the approach to half-time.
Spurs dominated the first-half in terms of possession but it was the Gunners who took their chances to sail in front.
