Lando Norris is finally a Formula 1 race winner, taking the chequered flag first during the Miami Grand Prix.
It was 2,220 days since Norris last won a race, the F2 Bahrain opener in 2018, as the McLaren driver had plenty of near-misses along the way.

As an interesting aside, it makes Lewis Hamilton the only race-winning Briton on the grid not to have had God Save the King played for him on the podium – with his 103rd and final win to date coming in December 2021, still during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
