The Players Championship is fast approaching, but before the PGA Tour stars head to TPC Sawgrass next week, there is another valuable prize up for grabs at the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Lodge.
The Arnold Palmer is the fourth Signature Event of the PGA Tour season after The Sentry, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis Invitational, and virtually all of the eligible big names are in the field in Florida this week.
Chief among them is former Bay Hill champion Scottie Scheffler, who is the 6/1 favourite to claim the title for a second time, while Rory McIlroy, an Arnold Palmer winner in 2018, can be backed at 17/2.
We have looked at the tournament and picked out three players who could upstage the market leaders at healthy odds.

Arnold Palmer Invitational: Ludvig Aberg to win & each-way @ 18/1
Accuracy has long been the key to success at Bay Hill, a typical Florida layout where errant shots can often find a watery grave, and Sweden’s Ludvig Aberg can put his brilliant ball-striking to good use to take home the biggest title of his career.
Aberg played in the Arnold Palmer Invitational as an amateur last year, finishing 24th, and he’s come a long way over the subsequent 12 months, winning on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, making a Ryder Cup debut on a winning European team and climbing to a career-high 11th in the world.
The Swede, who is based in Florida, teamed up with new caddie Joe Skovron at the start of this season and the pair have steadily found top gear, with Aberg finishing ninth at the Farmers Insurance Open, second at Pebble Beach and 19th at the Genesis in his last three starts.
At a course he knows, the prodigious 24-year-old looks poised for further PGA Tour glory.
Arnold Palmer Invitational: Cameron Young to win & each-way @ 25/1
Cameron Young is undoubtedly one of the best maidens on the PGA circuit and the American has the ability to gain that elusive first win at a Bay Hill layout which suits him down to the ground.
The New Yorker, a long and straight driver of the ball, has been in fine form in recent weeks, finishing eighth at the Phoenix Open, 16th at Genesis and fourth at last week’s Cognizant Classic, a Florida spin which could give him the jump on some of his chief rivals.
Young has finished 13th and 10th in two previous Arnold Palmer appearances and can better that record this week.
Arnold Palmer Invitational: Chris Kirk to win & each-way @ 55/1
Florida specialist Chris Kirk does not have the power of Aberg or Young but the 38-year-old has Arnold Palmer form figures of 13-15-8-5-39 from his last five appearances in the event and there is every chance he goes close again.
Kirk closed with a 65 for a share of 28th place as the defending champion at the Cognizant and he’s already a PGA Tour winner this season, having claimed the biggest prize of his career when pipping Sahith Theegala to The Sentry title in January.
He could easily double up.
