Before the thrills and spills of the weekend’s football action, there are plenty of games to look forward to on Friday night from across Europe.
Taking in matches from the top-flights in Germany and Spain, along with the second tier of English football in the Championship, here are three selections to consider from Friday night’s schedule.

Bet of the Day
Augsburg v FC Union Berlin – Augsburg to win @ 11/10
Starting in the Bundesliga, Augsburg will look to continue their strong record against Union Berlin when they meet at WWK Arena (19:30).
Seventh-placed Augsburg are pushing for European football and will fancy their chances of overcoming 13th-place Union Berlin.
Fuggerstädter have lost just one of their nine meetings with Union, winning all of their last three home games against the capital outfit.
With that in mind, a home win here at odds of better than evens is our bet of the day.
Special of the day
Plymouth Argyle v Leicester City Bet Builder – Leicester City to win, Patson Daka to score anytime and Bali Mumba to be shown a card @ 21/2
On to the Championship and title contenders Leicester City will look to extend their lead at the top of the table when they travel to Plymouth Argyle (20:00).
The Foxes suffered a 1-0 defeat at Millwall in midweek, but the East Midlands outfit still boast the best away record in the Championship.
Beating Plymouth 4-0 at home earlier in the season, side with a Leicester win here, while also backing Patson Daka to score anytime.
Daka was one of the goalscorers in that comprehensive win at the King Power Stadium earlier this term and can strike again against the Pilgrims.
With Leicester expected to have plenty of the ball, the Plymouth defence are in for a busy night.
Bali Mumba should have his work cut out for him stopping the Foxes on the flank and it would be little surprise to see him add to his 10 yellow cards in the Championship this season.
A Leicester win, with Daka to score and Mumba to be carded gets the nod here.
Longshot of the day
Real Betis v Celta Viga Bet Builder – Celta Vigo to win, both teams to score and Iago Aspas to score anytime @ 10/1
Finally moving on to action from La Liga and Celta Vigo will continue their battle to avoid the drop when they travel to Real Betis on Friday night (20:00).
Celta are fighting for their top-flight status and have much more to play for than a Betis side that are in eighth place and arguably have too much ground to make up on the European qualification spots.
The visitors to the Benito Villamarin have a good recent record against Betis, having gone unbeaten in their last five meetings against them.
Celta have won and both teams have scored in their last two encounters and that trend might well continue on Friday night.
Scoring four goals in his last five starts against Betis, also look to Iago Aspas to get on the scoresheet for Los Celestes.
