Wayne Rooney had the Girth N Turf FIFA Pro Clubs team in stitches with a crude insult aimed at one of its founders, Angry Ginge.
Girth N Turf, a team founded by Angry Ginge (real name Morgan Burtwistle), and Yung Filly (real name Andres Felipe Barrientos) are trying to climb the Pro Clubs ladder, although they’ve had a few big names help them out.
They’ve called on a number of YouTubers, including Behzinga (Ethan Payne) as well as darts sensation Luke Littler.
But on Sunday, Angry Ginge and Yung Filly got their biggest recruit yet in the form of Manchester United and England legend Rooney.
It wasn’t Rooney’s FIFA skills that caught the eye though, rather his cutting response to Angry Ginge towards the end of the stream of his debut.
Rooney was heard saying: “If yous want us back I’ll be back.”

Angry Ginge responded: “You can come back tomorrow, mate. Don’t be s*** again.”
Rooney hit back: “Ah, you ginger c***!”
It’s a line which went down very well with the powers that be at Girth N Turf, including Angry Ginge, who laughed at the comment.

Rooney’s debut for the team comes after he withdrew from an appearance on Match of the Day with injury.
Taking to X, Rooney wrote: “Gutted not to be making my debut on the iconic @BBCMOTD show tonight, it’s something I have wanted to do since I was little.
“Unfortunately I have sustained a painful back injury during a holiday with my family but I look forward to being part of the team in the near future.
“Good luck to @GaryLineker and the guys for tonight’s show and see you soon.”
Rooney is currently out of work having been sacked as Birmingham manager in January.
The 38-year-old had been tipped to make his boxing debut, but he poured cold water on those reports, saying he’s focusing on making a return to management.
