A much-rumored WWE signing has been spotted in Detroit, MI ahead of tonight’s SmackDown (April 12).
Following a ton of speculation and a recent cryptic post suggesting a move to WWE may be imminent, it seems as if former NJPW star Tama Tonga may be set for a big debut on tonight’s SmackDown.
As reported by PWInsider Elite (via Wrestlingnews.co), Tonga is in Detroit ahead of the broadcast.
This is not a guarantee that he will be appearing on SmackDown, however, it certainly seems like a possibility.
Tonga has been reported in the past to potentially be joining The Bloodline faction if he indeed made the move to WWE.
The former Bullet Club member may not be the only new Bloodline recruit debuting on WWE TV soon, with former MLW World Champion Jacob Fatu has also reportedly signed with WWE despite an official announcement not yet being made.
It was reported that Fatu would be making his first WWE appearance “soon” by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio earlier this week, with the 31-year-old reportedly set to receive a push out the gate.
