There are only 100 days to go until the best athletes in the world will begin representing their country in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Olympic Games are being held in the French capital for the first time in exactly 100 years and stars will arrive in Europe aiming for gold.
At the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, Team GB came away with 64 medals in total and finished fourth in the overall leaderboards.
Tom Daley and Adam Peaty were among the gold medal winners for Britain who will be hoping they can excel once again this time around.
For those who do win gold, they will now receive prize money after World Athletics announced a major change to the event.

Paris Olympics: Dates and times
The 2024 Summer Olympics will begin with the opening ceremony on Friday, July 26 and will come to an end on Sunday, August 11.
France will host the games with events taking place all over the capital city Paris and others being held in Lille, Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes, Nice and Saint-Etienne.
The ceremony gets underway at 8.24pm, which cleverly on the 24-hour clock reads as 20:24pm.
Official times for events are yet to be determined but the UK is one hour behind France.
The games will be known as Paris 2024 and the Olympics and Paralympics will share the slogan ‘Games Wide Open’.

Paris Olympics: How to follow
The entirety of the 2024 Paris Olympics will be broadcast live on the BBC and Eurosport.
Events will be shown across all of the BBC’s channels in the UK.
This can be viewed for free on TV as well as live streamed through the BBC Website or BBC iPlayer via tablet or mobile devices.
TNT Sports and Discovery+ will also have coverage of the Summer Olympics.

Paris Olympics: Bidding process
Due to withdrawals, only Paris and Los Angeles were in contention to host the 2024 Olympic Games.
At the 131st IOC Session in 2017, Paris was named as host for the summer games after a concurrent agreement was awarded.
Paris was awarded the 2024 games while Los Angeles will host in 2028.
This will be the French capital’s third time hosting the Olympics meaning it becomes only the second city to do so after London.
