Following his interference on Monday Night Raw, WWE has announced CM Punk’s next appearances for the company.
At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Drew McIntyre defeated Seth Rollins to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Post match, McIntyre mocked his rival CM Punk who was on commentary for the bout.
This led to Punk attacking Drew with his arm brace and Damian Priest coming out to cash in the Money In The Bank contract to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
After making McIntyre’s title reign only over five minutes long, Punk then cost Drew his four-way match and helped Jey Uso win on the April 8 Raw After WrestleMania 40.
On April 12, WWE announced that CM Punk will appear for the WWE Draft special editions of Raw and SmackDown on April 26 and 29.
The April 26 episode of WWE SmackDown will take place from Cincinnati, Ohio and will see the start of this year’s Draft. Meanwhile, the April 29 WWE Raw will see the conclusion of the Draft and will take place from Kansas City, Missouri.
This announcement seemingly confirms Punk’s inclusion in the WWE Draft. It remains to be seen which brand will acquire the services of “The Second City Saint” at the time of this writing.
