Mike Tyson has uploaded a terrifying first-person POV of himself smashing the pads ahead of his upcoming clash with Jake Paul.
The pair meet on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas – the home of NFL side, the Dallas Cowboys.
Throughout the lead-up to fight night, Tyson has posted several training videos of himself looking in excellent condition, despite his age.
By the time he steps into the ring again, he will have just celebrated his 58th birthday.
But you wouldn’t believe that was the case when watching his most recent clip.
The former undisputed heavyweight world champion is seen unloading a series of vicious combinations on the pads as the camera shakes and bounces after each thudding shot.
Fans were left blown away by Tyson’s ferocious power and speed.
Reacting to the video, one fan wrote: “Mike is a machine.”
Another added: “Don’t care how old he is. F*** getting in the ring with that.”
A third tweeted: “If Mike doesn’t win within the first two rounds then it’s fixed.”
Tyson may look impressive in his training videos but it doesn’t take away from the fact that he is boxing a man 31 years his junior.
The last time Tyson stepped into the ring it was for an eight-round exhibition with fellow boxing legend Roy Jones Jr in November 2020.
Since then, Paul has fought nine times in the paid ranks.
Most of ‘The Problem Child’s’ opponents have been ageing MMA fighters with no prior boxing experience.
But more recently, he has started facing low-level pro boxers and looks to be making considerable improvements with every contest.
Ryan Bourland, a former national amateur champion and 20-fight veteran, only lasted two minutes and thirty-seven seconds before succumbing to a stoppage loss to Paul in his last outing.
Meanwhile, Andre August, who has boxed professionally 13 times, lasted five seconds less than Bourland, three months prior.
