Heavyweight Power Slap star Damien Dibbell retained his title after an astonishing knockout on Ryan Phillips.
Footage of Dibbell’s brutal knockout was posted on social media by Power Slap after he retained his heavyweight title.
In the main event, ‘The Bell’ delivered an earth-shattering slap that flatlined Phillips in the fourth round.
It showed exactly why Dibbell is one of the biggest names in the sport, which is quickly becoming more and more popular in the United States.
However, the Floridian showcased an incredible ironclad chin to take some heavy hits from ‘The King of Kings’.
“It lasted longer than I thought it would,” Dibbell said. “But once I found that groove, it was over.”
This was Dibbell’s second title defence and the 22-year-old has a great future ahead of him in the sport.
And fans were firmly on the youngsters side, with one replying on Instagram: “Sweet dreams are made of these.”
Another posted: “He put him to sleeeeepppp.”
While this fan said: “THE BELL BABYYYYYY.”
Power Slap 7 is part of the build-up to UFC 300, which gets underway on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
It will feature Alex Pereira defending his light heavyweight title against Jamahal Hill, with Drake lumping a huge bet on.
The event was held at UFC APEX, which was only opened in 2019 to host smaller events and shows as well as being across the street from the UFC Performance Institute, the company’s headquarters.
