On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Swerve Strickland’s challenger for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing was confirmed.
With AEW Double or Nothing on pay-per-view fast approaching on May 26, 2024, it has now been revealed who will challenge Swerve in the big title match.
The show began with the Young Bucks cutting the satellite feed to Tony Khan to effectively ‘take over’ the show.
After showing a new show open that featured only members of the Elite, the first actual segment of Dynamite featured Swerve Strickland in an in-ring segment.
However after he doubled down on his previous comments regarding the Bucks attacking Tony Khan, calling it a ‘b***h move’, he was interrupted via the big screen.
With the EVPs the Young Bucks appearing, they would go on to introduce Strickland’s Double Or Nothing challenger.
Christian Cage returned and will challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas on May 26, 2024.
