Fulham are interested in signing Scotland midfielder Stuart Armstrong after his release from Southampton, talkSPORT understands.
Armstrong also has offers from overseas within Serie A side Fiorentina having expressed an interest.
The 32-year-old helped the Saints gain promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking this season, although missed the end of the campaign and the club’s Championship play-off victory with injury.

Armstrong is part of Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for their Euro 2024 opener against Germany in nine days’ time, with the player hoping to recover in time to feature.
The former Celtic star is not short of suitors and should a move to Fiorentina materialise, he would follow a similar path to Lewis Ferguson who currently plays for Bologna.
Fulham pose a threat to Fiorentina’s plans to lure Armstrong to Italy, with Marco Silva keen to bolster his midfield options.
Armstrong arrived at St Mary’s from Celtic in 2018 and went on to make 214 appearances for the south-coast club.
He netted 25 times during his six-years at the club and was a key player during the 2023/24 campaign, making 45 appearances.
On his release a club statement read: “The club would like to thank Stuart for his commitment and effort during his time as a Saint, and we wish him the very best in whatever comes next.”
Meanwhile, Southampton hope to keep hold of Armstrong’s Scotland teammate Che Adams who is nearing the end of his deal.
