Luke Littler has told fans to stop sending hate to his ex-girlfriend Eloise Milburn after the couple split up.
Littler released a statement on social media site Instagram to clear up reports of his break-up with Eloise.
The pair had started dating last year after they met at a PDC Development Tour event in Leicester in August 2023.
Since then, Eloise, 21, was regularly spotted supporting the darts sensation, including his incredible run to the World Championship final at Alexandra Palace, where he lost to Luke Humphries.
Reports broke earlier this week that the couple were no longer seeing one another with Littler’s increased time on the PDC circuit making it more difficult for them to spend time together.
And the 17-year-old has since responded with a strongly written statement after being hounded by fans.
He wrote: “Everyone needs to stop sending hate towards Eloise saying it’s her fault and this and that.
“I myself split up with Eloise and everyone just needs [to] give us some time, no need for everyone to message her and give her grief.”
Littler recently crashed out of the World Matchplay in the first round after losing to Michael van Gerwen.
The Dutchman landed a 10-6 victory over the youngster in a blockbuster opening tie at the Blackpool tournament.
But ‘The Nuke’ has had an extremely successful year in darts after losing the World Championship final to Humphries in January.
He was invited to the Premier League on the back of his performances at the Ally Pally, going on to win the competition in his debut year by beating his once-rival Humphries in the final.
As well as stunning former world champions like Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith, Littler has won two European Tour events this season and lifted the Players Championship title in February.
Last month, the teenager beat 2018 world champion Rob Cross to win the Polish Darts Masters.
