Rising golf star gets blue-chip sponsorship – Golf News

Promising young golfer Ellie Taylor is celebrating a sponsorship from leading house builder Taylor Wimpey.

The ten year old from Kent, is now ranked in the top 18 female golfers of her age in the UK and has twice been named “Best Girl in Kent Under 10” at the Kent Golf Invicta 10s.

Ellie has most recently competed in the Nick Faldo Futures Series – a national competition with over 1,000 entrants. She reached the grand final of the competition which took place at the Belfry on August 28th and secured a top 10 finish.

Ellie said: “I’d like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their support. Their sponsorship will help me enter more tournaments and keep improving my game. I’m excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to keep playing and learning.”
