Former WWE Raw & SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso is injured and will not be part of the upcoming WWE Draft, according to Fightful.
The injury is undisclosed and there are no details on how long he is out for. It’s something that is apparently enough to keep him out of the Draft proceedings which will make him a free agent in storyline terms.
His name was not listed on the eligible wrestlers list released earlier Wednesday. The Draft kicks off on this Friday’s SmackDown and concludes on Monday’s Raw.
The 38-year-old Uso was last seen on the post-WrestleMania 40 edition of SmackDown getting kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa and new member Tama Tonga, much to the surprise of Paul Heyman.
Uso’s last match was at the first night of WrestleMania against his brother, Jey — a match Jey said he felt let people down. Jey is eligible to be drafted on night one of the Draft.
After the Draft, the new rosters will lock on Monday, May 6th, two days after next month’s Backlash is set to take place.
