This whole exercise started a little over a month ago when I saw a tweet with a picture of the four greatest Pittsburgh Penguins ever that claimed it would be the NHL’s No. 1 Mount Rushmore of all-time.
There are likely legions of people who agree with that sentiment. There are no wrong answers here, but as great as Pittsburgh’s Mount Rushmore is, it’s just a very, very, very slight rung below the greatest one of all-time, which will be revealed on Thursday. (Or you can figure it out yourself by referring to the previous rankings below.)
