Randy Orton vs. AJ Styles in a King of the Ring tournament match is one of five bouts announced for Friday’s WWE SmackDown.
WWE has revealed that the lineup for Friday’s episode will include two first round King of the Ring tournament matches in Styles vs. Orton, plus Tama Tonga vs. Angelo Dawkins.
Three first round Queen of the Ring tournament matches are also set for Friday’s show.
Bianca Belair will face Candice LeRae, Jade Cargill will take on Piper Niven, plus Naomi will face Nia Jax in Friday’s Queen of the Ring bouts.
Two first round King of the Ring matches on the SmackDown side of the bracket will remain following Friday’s show, with no date announced to this point for LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar, plus Carmelo Hayes vs. Baron Corbin.
An additional first round match in the Queen of the Ring SmackDown bracket has also yet to be revealed.
The King and Queen of the Ring tournament finals will be held at the PLE of the same name on Saturday, May 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with preliminary matches continuing on WWE TV in the build to that event.
