Ryan Kennedy and Michael Traikos look around the NHL and beyond in The Hockey News Pre-Game Show.
This Saturday night classic opens with Ryan and Michael discussing something that seems a little repetitive at this point, Leafs versus Bruins Game 7. They ponder who will come out victorious, the fallout of a loss for either team and also whether the Leafs or Bruins stand a chance against the patiently waiting Florida Panthers. Then it’s over to Vancouver for a look at their outlook after eliminating Nashville, before shifting back to Game 7 talk but this time with Vegas and Dallas.
The topic then shifts to the second round. The guys give their picks for the toughest opponents in each conference now that the first round is all but over. They then shift to coaching and the recent Jack Adams Award Finalists that were announced and why names like John Tortorella and Kris Knoblauch were omitted.
Joining the show this week is remote guest and New York-based correspondence Stefen Rosner. Stefen and the guys discuss the New York Rangers and their outlook ahead of their second-round matchup with the Hurricanes. Then to wrap it all up, Ryan and Michael continue the ongoing tradition of answering a slew of rapid fire questions about all things hockey.
