Poland and Austria are under mounting pressure in their do-or-die encounter this week, live on talkSPORT.
The Euro 2024 outsiders both suffered opening defeats to Group D rivals Netherlands and France respectively, and are now on the brink.
Poland exceeded expectations in the absence of talisman Robert Lewandowski against the Dutch but ultimately lost 2-1.
Austria similarly threatened tournament favourites France but a cruel own-goal proved the difference for Ralf Rangnick’s men.
A second defeat for either side here will likely signal an early elimination such is the level of competition on offer in Group D.

Poland vs Austria: Team news and latest squads
The huge news for the Polish is the return of their captain and star striker Lewandowski following a pre-tournament thigh injury.
The 35-year-old will likely replace Kacper Urbanski in the starting eleven, with Brighton’s Jakub Moder also vying for a spot.
Austria remain without their own captain and star man David Alaba, whose own injury issues have relegated him to a role in the dugout.
Rangnick doesn’t have any other issues to contend with but may choose to tinker with his side after struggling to score against France.

Poland vs Austria: What has been said?
Former Manchester United interim manager Rangnick defended Leeds defender Max Wober following his horror-show against France.
It was Wober’s own-goal that saw Austria lose against Les Blues, but he was also shown a yellow card, run ragged by Kylian Mbappe and substituted after an hour.
However, Rangnick said: “Well, it’s obvious that we are disappointed with this result. In 100 minutes we didn’t concede one goal from France, the only goal was a very unfortunate own goal. There’s no reproach at all towards Maxi Wober.
“But what is really important is that he doesn’t reproach himself. Among the team members, among the staff, everybody knows it was a situation that was super unfortunate. He received the ball on his head and couldn’t do anything.”
On facing Poland, Rangnick added: “The match against Poland will be decisive. We all knew it would be difficult and that the second match would be decisive.
“Of course, for both teams, it is a decisive match, the one that loses won’t have a good chance of going through the group.
“This match is like a final and this is how we approach it.”
