Ahead of tonight’s June 7 Friday Night SmackDown, a planned WWE match between Jade Cargill and Indi Hartwell has been changed.
On the May 31 edition of SmackDown, Indi Hartwell confronted WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill about injuring her tag team partner Candice LeRae.
This led to Cargill challenging Hartwell to a singles match on the June 7 episode of the blue brand.
Ahead of tonight’s episode, WWE Twitter account posted a digital exclusive clip where Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell barged into SmackDown GM Nick Aldis’ office to complain about the singles bout.
After LeRae and Hartwell made their case that the match was unfair, Aldis made a change to the scheduled singles match into a tag team bout with Belair and Cargill now facing Candice and Indi.
Also scheduled for tonight’s show, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will appear to respond to AJ Styles’ fake retirement from the week prior and Solo Sikoa will anoint Tonga Loa into The Bloodline.
