The ever-popular Pebble Beach Pro-Am is coming up this week and talkSPORT 2 will have full coverage from California.
The event sees a professional and amateur paired together over three rounds at three different courses at the incredible Monterey Peninsula.
The leading pairs then play a fourth round at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Course before a champion is crowned.
Tom Hoge won the tournament last year while former champions also include Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.
Each year, a number of celebrities make up the amateur field and Tottenham and Wales great Gareth Bale will be teeing it up in 2023.
Bale announced his retirement from football recently but his love of golf is well known.

The tournament will be held between Thursday, February 2 and Sunday, February 5.
Play will begin at 4pm UK time each day.
talkSPORT 2 will have full commentary from California with Will Gavin, Jon Jackson and Russ Hargreaves.
Our coverage will get underway at 5pm on Thursday and will run through to the completion of the tournament.
The action will also be shown live on Sky Sports Golf throughout the week.
Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2023: Format
The event will see 156 professionals and 156 amateurs compete in teams of two (one pro and one am) for the first three days.
Each pair will play a round at three of the Monterey Peninsula’s premier golf courses – Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula Country Club.
The 156 two-man teams will play a better ball format on each course.
The field will then be cut down for Sunday’s final round back at Pebble Beach before a champion is crowned.
There will be a professional leaderboard and winner for a sanctioned PGA Tour victory and also a separate leaderboard for the top amateur.
Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2023: Field and tee times
The professional field will include US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick, world number five Patrick Cantlay and three-time major winner Jordan Spieth.
Europe’s Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and former Masters champion Danny Willett are also set to tee it up.
As for the amateurs, Bale will be in action alongside musician Macklemore, actor Bill Murray and NFL legend Aaron Rodgers among others.
The groups are set to be confirmed on Tuesday, January 31.
Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2023: What has been said?
Bale’s footballing career may be over, but his golfing one is just beginning.
The former Real Madrid and Tottenham star wrote on Instagram: “Delighted to announce I will be playing in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at the start of next month! Let’s go.”
Bale’s love of golf is well known.
During his time with Real, he posed with a banner that read, ‘Wales. Golf. Madrid. In That Order’ – a move which sparked a backlash among supporters of the club.
Bale, whose last club was Los Angeles FC, is known to be a low handicapper and since he retired it has been reported that he intends to work on his golf game.
