Nottingham Forest must reportedly generate £20million in transfer sales by the end of the month.
Forest were deducted four points by the Premier League last season for breaching the league’s profit and sustainability rules.
Despite the penalty, the East Midlands side secured their top-flight survival by finishing 17th.
But in order to abide by the financial rules, Daily Telegraph reports that Forest need to raise £20million before June 30.
Whilst such a figure from sales is lower than what was first thought, the club are still at risk of breaching the rules again.
However, Forest are said to be ‘relaxed’ over the situation and are aiming to reach the required sum before the end of the month.
One move that is set to take place is Orel Mangala’s transfer to Lyon for £25million, a payment Forest have already considered in plans for the financial year.
Morgan Gibbs-White and Murillo are seen as the club’s two most desired players and it is said that one sale may have to be sanctioned ‘to guarantee financial stability’ in the future.
But Forest could also be set to reach the required £20million through fringe player departures this summer.
Matt Turner, Odysseas Vlachodimos, Joe Worrall, Lewis O’Brien, Josh Bowler and Emmanuel Dennis are all said to be available.
Whilst Forest need to make sales, they may also be set to welcome new arrivals before the start of next season.
The report says they could consider a new move for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, and they scouted Carlos Miguel of Corinthians last season.
As well as this, talkSPORT understands Forest could be set to beat Wolves in the race to sign Che Adams.
They have offered a better overall package than Wolves, with Adams available on a free transfer this summer when his contract with Southampton expires at the end of the month.
