Perry Groves laid into the West Ham players for their shocking performance against Chelsea on Sunday.
The Hammers were off it all game at Stamford Bridge and found themselves 4-0 down after just 48 minutes.
Cole Palmer, Conor Gallagher, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson all helped themselves to goals before Jackson then got his second, and Chelsea’s fifth, late on.
It could have been even more, with ex-Arsenal star Groves accusing them of playing ‘like a team on the beach with their flip flops and lilos’.
Fans voted with their feet as the away end at Stamford Bridge emptied after the fourth goal went in.
At half-time, Groves said: There are five or six West Ham players that aren’t trying, they have lost their edge.
“The (West Ham) players are playing like their manager isn’t going to be there next season.
“The West Ham players aren’t showing Moyes any respect.
“Chelsea look really hungry, Palmer and Gallagher are thriving because they are not being challenged.”
Groves even singled out a few players for their poor performance.
He continued: “I can’t believe the left-back Emerson is still on the pitch. I can’t believe David Moyes hasn’t given him the hook, you’ve got Ben Johnson who can play here.
“If you asked Madueke what sort of full-back he wants to play against every week and he’d say Emerson.
“Emerson has been awful, [Lucas] Paqueta has been awful, Mohammed Kudus won’t even need to shower after the game.
“There’s five West Ham players on the pitch just strolling.
“West Ham been nothing short of a disgrace.”
