“No one is more humble than N’Golo Kante,” according to his friend and former teammate Cedric Kipre.
Kante has a reputation as one of football’s good guys and that has been backed up by the former Foxes man.
The French midfielder arrived at Leicester in the summer of 2015 and made an immediate impression with his all-action displays has he helped Claudio Ranieri’s side to a shock Premier League title.
While only a teenager at the time, Kipre was at Leicester at the same time as Kante having joined a year earlier.
After a year on loan, Kipre was adjusting to life in Leicester at the same time as Kante and explained how the midfielder stepped up to help him as he adapted to life in England.
Speaking to Goal, Kipre said: “I lived at N’Golo’s house for a month when I was at Leicester.

“I had a problem with my apartment and he hosted my brother and me.
“Not everyone would have done it, and it was really nice of him.
“Today, I’m proud to have met someone like him. There is nobody more humble than N’Golo.”
While Kipre now plays for West Brom, Kante’s career ignited after that year at Leicester as he spent seven years with Chelsea before joining Saudi side Al-Ittihad last summer.
Kante went on to win a Premier League title, an FA Cup, a Champions League, Europa League and Club World Cup during his time with the Blues, while also winning the World Cup and UEFA Nations League during his time in west London too.
For Kipre, the 23-year-old looks back on Leicester’s title-winning campaign as a ‘crazy’ experience.
“It was unbelievable,” he said. “Something crazy. The atmosphere was fantastic! Even the players hadn’t seen it coming.
“It was really beautiful. The day of the title, I was in the stadium behind the substitutes’ bench.
“I was filming everything with my phone, I wanted to keep memories.”
