Newcastle United will seek to strengthen their place in the Premier League’s top four on Saturday when they host Aston Villa live on talkSPORT 2.
The Magpies are flying at the moment, and after a 2-1 win over Tottenham, they head into this game full of confidence.
Eddie Howe’s side boast the league’s best defensive record and have only lost once in the Premier League at St James’ Park in 2022.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa’s new boss Unai Emery won’t be on the touchline, meaning Aaron Danks will manage his last game as caretaker boss.
Emery isn’t expected to be in attendance, but he will no doubt watch the match.
Villa thrashed Brentford 4-0 at home last weekend, so will head to Newcastle in good spirits.
But they haven’t won in the top-flight on Tyneside since a 3-0 victory in 2005 when the hosts ended the game with eight men.
