A mass brawl broke out between Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal’s camps at their press conference on Thursday night.
The former UFC stars took to the stage in Anaheim, California to promote their upcoming boxing match on July 6.
Things turned violent shortly after Diaz prematurely exited the presser having grown tired of answering questions.
Several videos circulating online show Masvidal slapping away a member of Team Diaz’s hand, who then swung at the 39-year-old.
The same team member then exchanges blows with one of Masvidal’s entourage as hell breaks loose.
Chairs are flung to the ground, strikes rain in from both sides and Masvidal, who attempted to get back in on the action, is pulled away by security.
Moments earlier, Diaz said: “I’m done with this whole press conference.
“I’m glad we’re here to promote these great fights that are happening, that’s cool as f**k.
“But besides that, I think my work here is done. I’m done with all this s***.”
Diaz then took aim at Masvidal before walking off the stage: “No more press conferences until my next fight.
“F*** this ugly motherf*****. I’m out. Imma see everybody. Peace out.”
Diaz and Masvidal had been slated to face each other on June 1 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood.
However, their fight was relocated to the Honda Center in Anaheim on July 6 to avoid conflicting with UFC 302 and the Queensberry vs Matchroom 5 vs 5 card.
The fierce rivals have history dating back to their first fight in the UFC for the inaugural BMF championship in 2019.
Masvidal was declared the victor after a doctor waved off the contest due to a cut above Diaz’s eye at the end of the third round.
They have been at each other’s throats ever since and are now set to settle their score in the squared circle.
