Tyrrell Hatton dropped a classic ‘F-bomb’ during the third round of The Masters while alongside Tiger Woods.
The Englishman was fuming when he saw a chip onto the green take an unexpected bounce, making his putt more difficult.
As he saw his shot land, the new LIV Golf member could be heard saying: “Oh my goodness gracious me.
“How f****** big is that bounce?”
Now, for most people, this would be a sign of frustration, but when it comes to Hatton, this is a regular occurrence.
He is the self-confessed best golf player in the men’s game at swearing, and he more than lived up to his reputation here while he completed the iconic Masters course at Augusta alongside Woods.
Of course, he’s also not where he perhaps thought he would be and is trailing the leading pack.
The 2023 Ryder Cup hero was also slightly irritated after day two with the speed of the group who were playing ahead of him.
Speaking at the end of the session, he said: “The lads in front have been so slow.
“It’s pretty poor from the officials that it took 32 holes to put them on the clock.
“Yesterday, they lost a hole and a half, they weren’t any better even this morning, and then for the second round, they were just brutal.
“Fine for them; they’re not waiting on any shot that they hit. But for us, we stood in the fairway, we stood on the tee.
“It was really hard to get a rhythm, so it was disappointing that it took 32 holes for an official to go: ‘Oh, we’ve put the group in front on the clock.'”
Hatton actually has a rather tempestuous relationship with Augusta and has criticised the course in the past.
Speaking in 2022 about the legendary course, he said: “If you hit a good shot, you should end up near the hole, not then short-sided into a bunker because of the slopes that they’ve created and stuff.
“I think it’s how the course is set up in general. You don’t really have to miss a shot, and your next one, you’re really struggling to make par.
“With how it runs off the greens here and the slopes that you are then chipping into and how obviously it’s cut, it just makes it really hard to even get chip shots close. I think everything is exaggerated here.”
So he’s had a few issues with this place in the past, but the latest incident was clearly just a bit of fun.
Hatton is a character, so it was great to see him live up to his own reputation.
