Antony has reportedly had his domestic abuse probe dropped by Brazilian police following a lack of evidence.
The Manchester United winger was accused by his ex-girlfriend Gabrielan Cavallin of ‘domestic violence, threat and bodily injury’ last year.
Former Ajax winger Antony immediately denied the accusations, which saw Cavallin file police reports in her native Brazil and in England.
Two more women later come forward to make similar allegations, although one subsequently dropped her case.
It led Antony to give a tearful interview on live TV where he stressed that there was no truth in the accusations.
Antony, who spoke to Greater Manchester Police to discuss the allegations, took a ‘period of absence’ during the start of last season.
His special leave saw him miss three Premier League matches of the 2023/24 campaign.
But according to Brazilian news outlet Globo.com, he has now been cleared after police found insufficient evidence regarding any wrongdoing.
Following the year-long investigation, the Public Security Secretariat told Brazilian media: “The case was processed under confidentiality.
“More information should be requested from the courts.”
A separate investigation by Greater Manchester Police remains ongoing.
