WWE United States Champion Logan Paul reached out to a recently released WWE star following their release from the company.
Former NXT North American Champion Cameron Grimes was released from the company on Tuesday, with him announcing his release in an emotional video on social media.
Grimes’ release came just four days after six other WWE stars were let go from the company, including former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.
Numerous WWE stars have shown support for Grimes following his release, with Grimes revealing perhaps the most surprising name, Logan Paul.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Grimes revealed that the United States Champion reached out to him after his release.
He said:
“This is gonna sound weird because the level of star he is, but Logan Paul actually reached out to me, and I thought that was pretty cool because he’s a megastar really, even beyond wrestling. He reached out to me and said some stuff to me, so that helps me feel good.”

Logan is set to return to WWE television on next week’s episode of Raw.
During the interview, Grimes also claimed that a ‘pretty high’ executive had told him he wouldn’t have to worry about his job just days before his release.
