McLaren driver Lando Norris recently was seen having a good time during a holiday in the Netherlands, however, during the party, he suffered a blow to his nose. While it is not clear how serious the injury to his face was, the images show Norris with loose bandages all across his face but smiling.
Patricio O’Ward, McLaren’s Formula One reserve
Mexican Patricio O’Ward is McLaren’s reserve driver in F1 and has not yet had the opportunity to make his debut in the top category.
Pato O’Ward races with the Arrow McLaren team has already won one race, and is in fourth place in the 2024 season with 64 points, 15 points behind leader Scott Dixon, but three points behind third-place Alex Palou.
O’Ward is racing his fifth season in the IndyCar Series and is about to turn 25 years old on May 6. The Monterrey native has already stated that if he does not make it to Formula 1 by the age of 27 it would be very difficult for him to be given the opportunity.
If Lando Norris‘ nose injury demands a slow recovery, he could give the seat to O’Ward for the Grand Prix of Miami, which runs May 3-5.
