One Knicks fan took things a bit too far when he was spotlighted on the Kiss Cam at MSG during a heartbreaking one-point loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.
A male fan, who was decked out in Knicks gear, appeared to catch a brunette woman he was with sitting off guard when he playfully pushed her head down toward his lap when cameras captured them on the Kiss Cam.
The woman appeared to lean over for a kiss and grabbed the man’s face, but he had other plans for their 15 seconds of fame.
The woman quickly sat up and fixed her hair before the pair were seen laughing together.
The man — who was wearing a black Knicks t-shirt and a blue chain logo necklace — might’ve gone rogue, as it looked like she was going in for a kiss.
Maybe next time, a smooch would be a better fit for a kiss cam moment.
The night ended on a somber note as the Knicks lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Bulls after going on a 17-0 run to rally back from a 22-point deficit in the third quarter.
With the Knicks up 123-121 and the Bulls inbounding, Josh Hart fouled Coby White during a 3-point attempt with 3.2 seconds left, and White made all three of his ensuing free-throw attempts.
Jalen Brunson’s attempt at a game-winning buzzer-beater then rimmed out as time expired.
It was the Knicks’ first back-to-back of the season after defeating Philadelphia,111-99, on Tuesday.
That wasn’t the first time MSG cameras captured an uncomfortable encounter in the stands.
During a Knicks preseason game against the Wizards last month, a cameraman panned to a woman who appeared upset sitting next to a man she seemed to be with at the game.
The woman was seen wiping her eye as she looked over at the somber looking man.
