Free agent guard Cameron Payne has a new home just a short trip away from his old one.
Payne has agreed to a one-year, $3.1 million deal with the Knicks, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported on Monday.
Payne is coming off a season where he averaged 9.3 points per game and 1.8 rebounds while adding 3.1 assists in 31 games with the 76ers.
The guard had been a fan favorite in Philly and was viewed as one of the best backup guards still on the open market.
