Jorge Masvidal has urged Jake Paul to stay away from MMA.
‘Gamebred’ has been embroiled in a bitter feud with Paul for several years, despite the pair once being friends before the YouTube star’s rise in combat sports.
The pair have previously teased a clash in the boxing ring, where Paul has had 10 professional fights, but he is also eyeing a debut in MMA where he has signed a deal with promotion PFL.
Masvidal, who has opposed many of Paul’s views in the past, has laid into the influencer, insisting the UFC should never work with him in any capacity.
He shouted during the MMA Hour: “I’ll address this little coward right now because I know he’s watching this s**t.
“Listen [Jake], the UFC doesn’t like your b***h ass. Dana White, don’t like your b***h ass.
“They said ‘We’re not going to let you make money with this guy’, because at the end of the day, we’re partners. Me and Nate Diaz, we’re going to make money right now.
“They don’t care for that motherf****r. I get why they don’t want me to f**k with him and make him any notoriety or money. They don’t give a f**k about him.
“Jake runs up on me somewhere else where it’s not a ring or something you can find out bro. You’re talking about the PFL, the f**k are you going to do in MMA?
“Are you kidding me? You can’t even box. Now you’re going to fight in MMA? I would kick your f*****g kneecap off your fragile body.
“You dumb motherf**ker, don’t bring up MMA ever you disrespectful piece of sh*t.”
It appears any MMA fight between Masvidal and Paul is currently off the table, given the UFC’s reluctance to work with Paul.
It initially appeared that the ex-UFC welterweight had settled his rivalry with the ‘Problem Child’ after they staged a fake confrontation in a car park last year.
But the bad blood seems to be on the table more than ever, with Masvidal’s step into the boxing world reigniting fighting talk.
27-year-old Paul has been heavily critical of the UFC, igniting a feud with president White, while being outspoken on their treatment of fighters.
The showdown could happen in PFL, but Paul’s debut is set to be delayed while he prioritises boxing.
He will next take on heavyweight legend Mike Tyson on July 20, in a huge event in Texas this summer.
